What is the Wall Putty or Mastic Powder?

Wall putty powder is widely used in the field of construction and decoration in construction Buildings. In Vietnam, Wall putty powder is widely used in the southern region.

Mastic powder, also known as Wall putty powder, is characterized by a white or powdery substance. People often know the product is used to flatten walls before painting.

The usages of Wall putty powder:

  • To creat the ability to closely link with the capillaries of concrete and cement mortar, creating a beautiful paint for the project
  • To reduce the consumption of paint, save a lot of cost and construction time
  • To flatten convex surface and make painting later easier

Composition of Wall putty powder: Adhesive + Fillers + Additives

  1. Adhesives: Include 2 types of mineral binders (usually Cement or Gypsum) and polymers adhesives
  2. Fillers: Used to enhance a number of activities, increase the rigidity, workability, flow resistance and increase volume. Limestone Powder (CaCO3) is the most commonly used filler which accounts for about 60% of the content in plaster plaster production.
  3. Additive: A type of raw material occupies a very small part in the composition but plays a very important role: giving the product some necessary properties, keeping water for setting time, helping construction easily, increasing time construction time, improve curing properties and setting time
